The initial resistance of the metal test piece is calculated by the formula R=ρl/A, where ρ is the electrical conductivity, R is the resistance, A is the cross-sectional area, and l is the length of the metal test piece. ER Probe technology can be applied in various media, like liquid phase (electrolyte or non-electrolyte), gas, etc. It is simple to operate, easy to maintain, and provides easy data analysis.
