Socket Weld Flange

It is a common welding way used for pipeline connection.
Connection: One end of a pipe is inserted to a recessed area of the flange and then fixed by welding.
Use: For small diameter, high-pressure piping.
Advantage: Good for small pipes where internal welding isn’t easy.

Slip-On Flange

It is a part that connect pipes to each other and are attached to the ends of pipes. There are holes on the welding flange, and bolts are used to tightly connect the two flanges. The interstitial gasket is used for sealing. Welded flanges are disc-shaped parts and are most common in pipeline engineering.
Use: Common in low-pressure applications.
Connection: The pipe slides into the flange before being welded both inside and outside.
Advantage: Easy to align and install.

Weld Neck Flange

It is a flange used for connecting pipes, characterized by a protruding neck that can be welded to the pipe, providing high strength and fatigue resistance.
Use: Ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature systems.
Connection: Welded directly to the pipe, with a long tapered hub for stress distribution.
Advantage: Very strong and reduces stress at the base of the flange.

Blind Flange

The feature of a blind flange is that it has no hole in the middle, looks similar to a solid disc, and has bolt holes around it.
Use: Used to close the end of piping systems or pressure vessel openings.
Connection: Bolted in place without any pipe inside.
Advantage: Allows for easy access for inspection or maintenance.
